Morwenna Rowe is a voice and accent coach with over 17 years experience. She has taught voice and text for several of the world's leading drama schools including the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, the Oxford School of Drama and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She also freelances in film and theatre most recently as Voice Coach on Trevor Nunn's epic Wars of the Roses play cycle, and on the feature film "Nameless". Morwenna was core staff on the internationally recognised MA in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London, and consulted for the Tomatis Institute, Paris, working with many celebrated French actors, before founding Speak Easily in 2007. She has taught voice, accent and public speaking to the Dean and Fellows of the World Economic Forum, Geneva, at the United Nations, and for clients from organisations as diverse as NATO, HSBC, UBS, Harrods, Google, the BBC, BT, Financial Times, National Geographic, the Police Force, plus to leading doctors, research scientists, financial consultants, judges, artists, pilots and actors. Morwenna is frequently consulted by journalists from national print, TV and radio about issues of voice, accent, and elocution, most recently being interviewed for a documentary on accent in rap music for BBC Radio One. In 2011, she appeared as accent specialist on BBC2's comedy exploration of class and accent, 'Class Dismissed'. She speaks at international conferences and events on voice, accent and performance. Her accent reduction method is uniquely effective and based on many years specialism and research, including at the renowned Tomatis Institute, Paris. She is author to all of Speak Easily's teaching materials, including "How to Lose your Accent" her ground-breaking accent reduction method. She is also a specialist in storytelling to create dynamic, memorable speeches. She has a Distinction in Voice from the Central School of Speech and Drama, London, and a Double First Class degree in English from Cambridge University, UK. A 10 year career as a professional storyteller, and physical theatre training at the renowned Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris, inform her teaching. She is also an experienced actor and theatre director and coaches voice and text in theatre, including in the West End. Morwenna's humourful, relaxed and rigourous teaching is much in demand by actors, directors, and the commercial world alike.
