Coaches' Qualifications
Our coaches are all qualified
with MAs in Voice Studies from the Central School of
Speech and Drama, London (PG Diplomas if qualified before
1998, as the course changed its title then). Most of
the leading voice coaches in the world have been trained
on this course. It is one of the only professional qualifications
in voice teaching found worldwide. We pride ourselves on employing the 'creme de la creme' of Central's voice coaching graduates.
Our coaches bring a wealth of their own experience,
creativity and expertise to their coaching and are positive,
friendly, intelligent people who are a pleasure to spend
time with.

Morwenna Rowe
MA Cantab PGDipVS CSSD
Morwenna Rowe taught voice and accent
internationally for over a decade before setting up
Speak Easily in 2007. She still trains actors in London's
leading Drama Schools and in the profession, and usually
has a waiting list as a private voice coach.

Sonya Ross

Sonya Ross is
a highly qualified and talented Voice and Accent teacher
who specialises in Accent Reduction. She is a Phonetics
and EFL specialist with over eight years' experience
training non-native speakers on pronunciation and accent.
She is much in demand as an accent trainer and highly

Cathleen McCarron MAVS CSSD, BA RSAMD, MA (Hons) LLB Edin
Cathleen McCarron is a highly creative coach who trained in voice at the Central School of Speech and Drama after a ten year career in theatre, film, radio and television as an actor and storyteller. She currently teaches voice at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance and is Coordinator of the International Centre for Voice, based at CSSD, as well as coaching performers and business people privately. She specialises in developing the quality and clarity of the voice and in communication and presentation skills training and can also offer specific storytelling sessions. Cathleen has recently been selected to the prestigious role of RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company) Voice Intern from 2011-12.

Kara Tsiaperas MAVS CSSD, MFA UC Davis, BA UC Berkeley
Kara Tsiaperas is a fabulous and experienced voice and accent coach, teaching vocal production, speech and accents. She is originally from the U.S. and is therefore our American accent specialist. In New York City she has taught at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In London she teaches at Rose Bruford College and continues to work with private clients.

Leslie Tuckey
MAVS CSSD, DIP RADA
Leslie Tuckey was classically trained
in acting at RADA. He had an extensive theatrical career,
including in the West End, before training as a voice
teacher at CSSD. He currently trains actors at the Oxford
School of Drama and Rose Bruford College, London in voice production, text and speech.
His theatrical background informs his ability to open
up private clients to greater expressivity and vocal
confidence. He is also an expert RP (Standard British English) accent trainer. He is also the Voice of many of our audio
materials.

Deborah Garvey

Deborah Garvey is a highly skilled voice and singing teacher.
A visiting lecturer at Central School of Speech & Drama, London and the Urdang Academy, her singing, voice and speech skills are highly in demand. Also an expert in vocal health, she has given specialised seminars in this to organisations that include The Association of Teachers and Lecturers, sports clubs and GP Training organisations.

Marianne Samuels is an experienced voice coach specialising in effective communication in business and accent reduction. With over ten years experience in the media Marianne has worked with presenters and professionals at BSkyB developing voice care awareness, voice performance and presentation skills. She is also resident voice coach for the Sky Choir.

Laurann Brown

Laurann J. Brown is a fantastically
versatile voice coach with skills in voice production,
voice and body presentation skills, and accent/dialect
work. She has taught in various London drama schools
including East 15, Central School of Speech and Drama,
and Rose Bruford alongside her thriving corporate client

Kay Welch
Kay is an extremely experienced voice and accent trainer who specializes in accent training. Having graduated with distinction from the Central School of Speech & Drama (CSSD) MA Voice course, she now lectures in voice production, accent and text at two London's leading drama schools, the Arts Educational School and Rose Bruford college. She also has a busy private practice, training individuals both in accent reduction, and accent and dialect for theatre and film.

Nancy Wigglesworth
BA Hons Theatre, MAVS CSSD
Nancy Wigglesworth is a creative and energetic voice coach who specialises in teaching speech and accent work to both actors and non-actors. She has taught accent work in several London Drama Schools such as Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts, Rose Bruford College, East 15 and The Poor School as well as working with private clients on a variety of speech and articulation issues.
Nancy originally trained as an actor and as well as teaching voice she works as a professional voice-over artist and regularly records voice-overs for various TV and radio advertising campaigns.
